Home Staging Service allows users to virtually stage a property by transforming images of empty or outdated rooms into beautifully furnished spaces. Users can select from a range of design styles (e.g., modern, minimalist, Scandinavian).
Generation mode
The generation_mode field determines the type of home staging transformation applied to the room. There are two modes available:
- Furnish an Empty Room: This mode is ideal for rooms that are completely empty. The service will add furnishings, decor, and other elements to bring life and style to the space. It’s a perfect choice for showcasing how a blank canvas can be transformed into a functional and attractive room.
- Redecorate: Use this mode to refresh the style of an already furnished room. It will modify existing decor and furnishings, updating the space’s look without completely changing its layout. This option is great for rooms that need a stylistic update rather than a full furnishing.

Mask Usage in Home Staging
The Home Staging service allows for flexible image processing based on the use of a mask.
- No Mask Provided: If no mask is included in the request, the entire image will undergo the Home Staging process.
- Mask Provided: When a mask is supplied, only the areas highlighted in the mask will be staged, leaving the rest of the image untouched.
Negative Mask Option
The payload includes an optional field, negative_mask, which allows you to reverse the mask's effect:
- If
negative_maskis set toTrue, the staging process will exclude the areas defined in the mask and apply enhancements to the rest of the image.
This flexibility lets you define precisely which parts of the image to include or exclude in the staging process, tailoring results to your needs.
